Covers slightly rubbed. Book plate on front end paper. Thirty illustrations by the author. Prelims a bit grubby but internally a bright enough copy of an uncommon edition. £50.00

FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD. 1905. Macmillan. Reprint of the 1902 new edition. Blue cloth boards rubbed, with fading gilt decoration and titling to spine. Front hinge cracking and cloth split along front of spine. Name on front end paper along with some lightly inked numbering. Contents bright enough for a reading copy. £5.00

TIME'S LAUGHING STOCKS AND OTHER VERSES. 1909. Macmillan.
Green cloth covered boards with gilt. Spine a bit sunned and book has slight lean. Small paste stain on back cover. End papers tanned. Rough cut edges. Contents bright enough. £20.00

Jude The Obscure & Tess of The D'Urbevilles. Both bound in half calf with
marbled boards, gilt. & marbled end papers. The bottoms of the spines of both
are slightly damp stained, but the contents, including a fold-out map of Wessex
in each volume, are in very good condition. A very attractive pair. £16.00
